Most states require some sort of continuing education for home health aides. If you haven’t kept up with those, you could be at risk for losing your license. But your educational programs shouldn’t just contain the basics.
You need to go beyond what the state requires to effectively train your staff. That being said, you still need to include the minimum continuing education requirements.
